An 8-week, twice weekly post operative Breast Cancer Exercise Program.
Pregnancy Services
60 minute initial session;
30 / 45 minute subsequent sessions
Your initial assessment will be specific to you and will review any pre natal concerns, assess outcome measures specific to women’s health and pregnancy, and discuss safety measures and goal-setting strategies in order to create an individualised evidence-based exercise plan that can continue in a 1:1 setting or facilitate the entrance into our Pregnancy Equipment Classes.
Tailored 1:1 exercise sessions are specific to the needs and goals of every individual. We provide a personal approach to treatment and take the time to listen to your needs during pregnancy.
BUMP Equipment Classes
60 minute group sessions
BUMP is small group studio exercise class that focuses on improving strength and supporting pelvic floor muscles. Programs are individualised to each individual and tailored depending on trimester stages. Maximum 4 people per class.
*An assessment with our Women’s Health Exercise Physiologist is required before attending a first class to ensure each person is familiar with our equipment and the program prescribed is in line with their needs
POSTPARTUM 1:1
60 minute initial session;
30 / 45 minute subsequent sessions
Your initial assessment will be specific to you. We will review any concerns postpartum and set goals to return to exercise and daily activities with reduced pain. This session will involve education and planning specific to a mother and her new baby.
Tailored 1:1 exercise sessions are specific to the needs and goals of every individual. We provide a personal approach to treatment and take the time to listen to your needs postpartum. These sessions will focus on weakness present post birth, pelvic instability, incontinence concerns, and returning back to exercise safely.
MUMS and BUBS Mat & equipment Classes
60 minute group sessions
These classes are a great starting point to gradually return back to pre-pregnancy routines or life in general. We offer Mums & Bubs mat and equipment based classes to improve core control and stability as well as focus on pelvic floor and abdominal separation.
The pink ribbon program
60 minute group sessions
Introducing our 8-week Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Exercise Program, a tailored journey to help you regain strength and vitality after breast cancer surgery. This program is thoughtfully structured into four phases, with each phase recommended to be maintained for two weeks, ensuring a gradual and comfortable progression.
Upon completing this program, you'll be well-prepared to embrace a wide range of mainstream activities, all while considering any ongoing limitations due to surgeries.
Note: A Medical clearance and complete Referral form is recommended prior to commencing this program. Phase 1 can to be undertaken as soon as possible following surgery. A 1:1 Exercise Physiology Initial Consultation is require prior to starting program.
